Scrimmages Going Well on the Diamonds

The Lobo baseball team hosted Odessa High in a pre-season scrimmage on Thursday night.  Coach Scooter Dixon is the head baseball coach this year, and was pleased with the teams performance.

"I was pleased with the way we competed for the most part.  I was pleased with the way the pitchers threw strikes.  Our hitting needs to come on, but I expected that to be a little behind early in the year," said Dixon.

Another scrimmage follows tonight versus the Rangers in Greenwood at 5 pm.
