Loboes See Trouble on the Road

The Lobo baseball team had some troubles after the long trip to Presidio on Tuesday. The Blue Devils defeated Monahans 11-3.

Problems on defense, combined with trouble at bat handed the win to Presidio.

"It was a night that was not truly reflective of us and our ability, but it is what it is," said Head Baseball Coach Robert Dixon.

The Loboes will battle Pecos in a home game on Friday. Coach Dixon is hoping for a turnaround.

"Hopefully we have that out of our system and will right the ship and get everything going in our direction," said Dixon.

A win over Pecos would even out the district record for the Loboes, who are now 0-1.

The Friday night game begins at 7:30 pm at Lobo Field in Monahans.
