Loboes fall behind at Monday CC meet

Monahans hosted the District Cross Country meet on Monday, Oct. 25, at the Ward County Golf Course.  Pecos Presidio, Fort Stockton, Greenwood, Lamesa, Seminole and Monahans all competed in both junior high level and varsity level.

Seminole Junior High took first place for the girls, while Greenwood took second and Lamesa took third.

The Monahans Junior High boys ran after the girls completed.  Aaron Armendariz came in second while Fabian Flores came in sixth.   Tali Fletcher, Abraham Carrillo and Bobby Fabian also competed for the Loboes.

Daisy Zamarripa came in fifth for the Varsity Lady Loboes.  Renee Heslin, Ashlen Horak, Flicia Masis, Selena Balderas, Sarah Loehman and Sagan James also competed for the Lady Loboes.

The girls won fourth place team overall.

Chris Collins came in fifth for the Varsity Loboes.  Chino Arsiaga, Josh Munoz, Jarred Nall, Aaron forest, and Chad Harris also competed for the Loboes.  The boys won fifth place overall.

The regional meet will be Nov. 6 at Lubbock Mae Simmons Park.  Time was not available before press time.
