Playoffs ahead for Lady Loboes

After a 59-44 win Friday over Fort Stockton at the Jerry Larned Sports Complex, the Lady Loboes now face the playoff road.

With the first basket coming from the Lady Loboes, they took a head start in the first quarter with a 12-7 lead.

In the second, the Lady Loboes kept the lead with a 14-12 run.

The Lady Panthers gained momentum in third, but the Lady Loboes defense stopped them just 4 points away leaving the score at 36-32.

The Ladies determination was obvious as they scored 23 points in the fourth.  The Lady Panthers only put up 12 points.

Jenna Fann led the Ladies scoring 19 points.  Catherine Cutbirth put up 8 points while Chelsea Cartwright sank 7 points.  Sisters Madeleine Hopkins and Jacquelyn Hopkins scored 6 points each.

If Lamesa beats Greenwood on Tuesday night the Lady Loboes will take the third spot in the playoffs.  The Ladies will have a practice game in Seminole against Shallowater on Saturday at 3 p.m.  However, if Greenwood and Monahans for the second and third playoff berth.
