Golf Takes First Place

The Varsity Boys Golf B-Team won first place in the Lamesa JV invitational on Wednesday.

Wade Roark won the individual medalist award.  The team members and their scores were:  Wade Roark 84, Garrett King 90, Cameron Boyd 92, Timmy Fuentes 93, and Heath Haynes 110.

"These guys played pretty good Wednesday.  This was a good experience for these young men, and any time you come home with a first place medal, you've done something to be proud of.  I think this can be something each of these guys can build on for the future."
