Lady Lobo Golf Places Third in First Tourney of the Season

Lady Lobo golf begins spring season with third place tournament finish.  Monahans placed third in the San Angelo Golf Tournament on February 1-2.

The team shot a 378 at San Angelo Country Club on Friday and a 336 at Riverside Golf Course on Saturday.

Jordan Jernigan shot a 92 and 83.  Shelbye Hill shot a 95 and 80.  Victoria Moore shot a 99 and 84.  Allison Parks shot a 92 and 91.  Brittany West shot a 99 and 89.

"The girls played well on Friday with the cold and wind.  On Saturday our team score was very good for this time of year.  I am very proud of our effort and look forward to going to Austin next weekend to see how we compare with teams across the state," said Coach Becky Hix.
