Lady Lobo Golf To Start District After Spring Break

In the McCamey Tournament on Tuesday, Monahans I consisting of Quen Carter, Rachel Santiago, Erin Fisher, and Ciara McWilliams won first place with a team score of 366.  Monahans II consisting of Amy Rose, Ashton Haynes, Nichole Roeber, and Andrea Ybarra won second place with a team score of 401.

Erin Fisher won first place individually with an 88 after a scorecard playoff.

Quen Carter was second with an 88.

Amy Rose was third with a 89.

Rachel Santiago was fourth with a 91.

Ashton Haynes was seventh with a 97.

Ciara McWilliams was eighth with a 99.

All of these  girls won medals for finished in the Top Ten.

Quen Carter won a medal for the longest drive contest.

In the Lamesa Tournament on Thursday, Monahans won first place with a team score of 347.

Shelby Hill won first place individually with an 83.

Jordan Jernigan won second place with an 84.

Courtney Rutledge tied for third with an 87.

Victoria Moore shot a 93 and Allison Parks shot a 94.

"These girls did a great job and are working hard getting ready for district," said Coach Becky Hix.

The Lady Loboes will play their first round of district competition after spring break, on March 26 in Fort Stockton.
