Griner Passionate about Athletics

One of the fresh new faces at MHS is Ms. Tami Griner.  Not only does Griner teach math and science, but she also coaches volleyball, basketball, and softball.

Griner was born in Pecos and she was born to play sports, something she was very passionate about even in high school.

Griner says she loves Monahans.

"Everyone has been very helpful and accommodating," Griner said.

Ms. Griner has a very large family who moved to Monahans with her.  Husband, Joel, and children Dante, 6, Turanny, 4, Taryn, 2, and Talyssa, 9 months, are all adjusting to life in Monahans.

A likable and spirited lady with a positive attitude, Griner hopes to make a difference.

"I want to make a difference in students lives," she said.  "And I want to have a winning season in all our sports."
