The Lady Loboes defeated the Fort Stockton Lady Panthers 11-0 in the second district game of the season.

"The Fort Stockton girls had come to watch us on Tuesday and evidently were giving my girls a hard time. They were furious and ready to pound them that night. That was all the fuel my girls needed to come up with the shut-out," Coach Kasey Kinney said.

In the second inning the Ladies scored to funs due to an all- out effort from the entire squad.

In the third inning Heather Schuler hit a solo home run to score the eleventh run.

Dina Ortiz and Raquel Hawkins came up with doubles.

"Raquel even called a practice on Thursday afternoon after we had a horrible defensive practice earlier that morning. The team leadership is really starting to show and we are playing better after I moved some people around," Kinney said.

The Ladies will take on Midland Christian on Tuesday, March 15 beginning at 5 p.m. at the Lady Lobo Softball Field.

The Lady Loboes are 2-0 for the District Play and 10-3 overall.  The current district standing is Seminole 0-2, Pecos 2-0, Greenwood 2-0, Lamesa 0-2, Fort Stockton 0-1 and Presidio 0-1.
