After the game results Tuesday night, the Seminole Maidens might not want to come back to Monahans to face the Lady Loboes.

The ladies open their district season with a 14-0 victory over the Maidens.

The Maidens had enough of Raquel Hawkins as she pitched three straight innings without allowing a hit.

It was a different set of circumstances for the Ladies. With Seminole's Jenni Morales on the mound, The Ladies scored eight runs in the first three inning.

Third baseman Brianna Chaney, shortstop Heather Schuler and Hawkins took advantage of the high balls to steal home in the first inning.

In the third inning, second baseman Stacie Fuentes hit a single, bringing center fielder Lupe Naverrete home. Left fielder Brittany Slader's single brought designated hitter Ashton Jarrett home. First baseman Bailey Marcum's double brought home Slade and Jarrett. Marcum then stole home following a wild pitch by Seminole.

The Maidens tided to get into scoring position with a walk while Heather Schuler was on the mound. but fell to Hawkins' double play and Schuler's pop fly catch in the fourth inning.

Hawkins and Schuler combined for a no-hitter.

The Lady Loboes racked up more runs in the fourth, brings six more cross the home plate. Five of the scorers walked, and three stole home.

In the top of the fifth inning, Schuler refused the Maidens any base runs with a strike out and pop fly catches.

The Ladies are 9-3 allover and 1-0 in district play. The Lady Loboes will continue on the district route, playing Fort Stockton on Friday at 5 p. m. at the Lady Loboes softball field.
