Lady Loboes Shutout Pecos, 8-0

The Lady Loboes added another win to their undefeated district record on Monday night against Pecos.  Monahans handed Pecos an 8-0 shutout.  Monday's game was the last the Eagles would have to endure against the Ladies this year.  In three district games between the two teams, Pecos was only able to score two runs. 

Monahans scored three runs in the first three innings.  Runwise, the Ladies hit their high point in the fourth inning when they brought in four.

Heather Schuler pitched the game and only allowed four hits.

Lana Santiago had three hits, one of which was a three-run homerun in the fifth inning.  Dina Ortiz also hit a homerun, good for two rbi's in the third.

The next game for the Lady Loboes is against the Presidio Blue Devils.  In the first round of district play, Monahans shutout Presidio 26-0 and followed it with a 36-1 win in the second round.  The round three game will be in Monahans on Friday night at 5 pm.
