Lobo Swimmers Win Runner-Up At District Meet

The Lobo and Lady Lobo swim teams were in Pecos this weekend for the District 4-4A championship swim meet.   While Pecos took titles in both the girls and boys divisions, the Monahans boys came in second place and are the new district's runner-ups, beating Andrews, Pecos,  Big Spring, Abilene Wylie, Midland Greenwood and Fort Stockton High en route.

Boys 200-yard medley relay - Monahans High School 1:50.88 (Justin Dominguez, Reed Bowmen, Brandon Spinks, John Ray)         

Girls 200-yard freestyle - 4. Aimee McBride,  Monahans 2:22.51

Girls 100- yard freestyle - 5. Estefana Galindo, Monahans 56.17;
