District 3-AAA JV Tennis Championships

The Monahans Lobo Junior Varsity Tennis team competed in the District 3-AAA Championships in Monahans.  Emily Acker and Erin Coldewey fought through the tournament bracket to face each other in the championship match.  "The girls did well against the Greenwood players, and we are happy to have our only singles entries playing for the title,"  Coach Josie Mc Anally said.

The girls doubles team of Amanda Chavez and Dallas Ancira were also the lone entry for the Loboes in their division.  Chavez and Ancira advanced to the championship match to claim the District 3-AAA girls doubles title.

The JV boys did not have a break go their way in the District tournament, all dropping matches to eventual championship match competitors.

Girls Singles
Emily Acker defeated Jenifer Esquivel of Greenwood 6-1, 6-0.

Erin Coldewey defeated Kristi Cole of Greenwood 6-1, 6-4.

Emily Acker defeated Katie Gleghorn of Greenwood 6-1, 6-0.

Erin Coldewey defeated Savanna Prieto of Greenwood.

Emily Acker defeated Erin Coldewey 6-3, 6-4.

Girls Doubles
Amanda Chavez/Dallas Ancira defeated Olvera/Barrientes of Lamesa 6-1, 6-0.

Amanda Chavez/Dallas Ancira defeated Frazier/Contreras of Greenwood 6-2, 6-4.

Amanda Chavez/Dallas Ancira defeated Hernandez/Hernandez of Greenwood 6-0. 6-1.

Boys Singles
Ryan Day was defeated by Henrik Klobut of Lamesa 6-3, 6-1.

Daniel Heslin was defeated by Eric Garcia of Fort Stockton 6-4, 6-0.

Boys Doubles
Adam Ochoa/Allen Michael Chandler were defeated by Vidal/Alexander of Lamesa 6-3, 6-3.
