Lobo tennis tournament set for weekend

The Lobo tennis Boosters would like to announce that the Monahans Invitational Tennis Tournament will take place March 18 and 19 at the Lobo Tennis Complex.  Match play should begin at 9 a.m. each day.

The Monahans Invitational will feature a strong Lobo Team that recently competed at the team regional competition in Levelland, Texas.

Players include John Willhem, Steven Martinez, Chris Garcia, Jacob Kesey, Kyle Bean, Ryan Day, Andrew Orona, Laura Ramirez, Trina Escamilla, Tiffany Bean, Dina Ortiz, Cheyenne Smith,  Jennifer Rodriguez, Emily Acker, and Erin Coldewey.

"We expect to have a 10 team field come to Monahans to compete this weekend and would like to invite the community to come out and support Lobo tennis," said Candy Smith of the booster club.
