a Tennis Block Party is coming to your
neighborhood. Throughout the month of May, which is designated as "Tennis

of tennis.
The Monahans Block Party will be held on Friday, May 4 at the Monahans High school tennis courts from 6 to 8 and is free to the public. The Tennis Block Party will feature two hours of tennis instruction, interactive games and attractions, offering people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn and enjoy the benefits of the game; from fun and competition to lifestyle and fitness. Luis Valdez, a skilled teaching professional and the USTA representative for the Permian Basin area, will guide attendees through games and skills during this time of fun and learning.
"Spring brings brings a new attention to fitness and tennis offers unparalleled ways to have fun and get into shape," said Valdez. "The Tennis Block Parties celebrate the sport and provide a new way for people to get out and play."
