Runners Set records in mile run records

At last Friday's track meet in Fort Stockton, Michelle Azuaje, a seventh grader, beat the 3A district record for Jr. High School and Monahans High School.  Michelle held the record time of 5:58:21 as of Friday.  Michelle is the daughter of Jose & Jovita Azuaje.  At Saturday's track meet in Monahans, Daisy Zamarrpie, a Junior at Monahans High School, beat Michelle's record with the time of 5:56:18.  Daisy is the daughter of Adelia Sanchez.
