The Monahans Lady Loboes repeated a win over the Presidio Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon. The repeat at home was speedier than the away win two weeks prior, as Presidio was held to single digit scoring in all games.

Saturday's game scores were 25-4,25-5 and 25-9.

Bailey Marcum led the team in kills with 12, followed by Jordan Latham with eight and sophomore Kati Holly with five.

Few blocks were required against the Blue Devils, but Marcum managed to record two.  Latham, Holly, Kristi Holly, Heather Schulz and Kaitlin Mitchell each marked one block.  Mitchell also had 23 assists.

The win puts Monahans at a season 28-10 record and 4-0 in district.

Tuesday, Pecos will be on Monahans territory for their second and final second and final match up of the season.

Last Saturday, Pecos edged in a game win over Monahans, which the Green was able to shut down with a 3-1 match victory. The game win was notable, however, as it put Monahans in its first district game loss in several years.

On Tuesday, Pecos will step up its game offensively in an effort to expand its success to a match-win over the Lady Loboes.

Pecos usually brings a noisy crowd, so make plans to support the Lady Loboes. The freshmen and JV games are scheduled for 5:30 pm, and the varsity game begins at 6:30 pm at the Jerry Larned Sports Complex.
