Lady Loboes Shut Down Trinity

The Lady Loboes made short work of Lubbock Trinity on Tuesday night in three games, 25-19,25-15 and 25-15.

Bailey Marcum (23) led in kills with 14, followed by Jordan Latham and Heather Schulz with seven each.

Marcum also pulled in one assist, eight blocks and one dig.

Schulz served a team-high of for aces, while Latham served three.

The win puts the team at 23-10 season record.

The JV volleyball team defeated Lubbock Trinity on Tuesday.  After losing the first game 17-25, they came for a match win in the last two game 25-18 and 25-21.

Jordan Jernigan led the JV with eight kills, followed closely by Amy Rose with seven.

Allison Parks gave the hitters plenty to work with by putting in 15 assists.

Barbara Cota and Kassie George shared the lead in digs with 16 each.

Shelby Najar was not far behind with 11 digs.

The freshman also defeated Lubbock Trinity, but the score was not available at press time.

Only one more opponent remains before the start of the district season.

This Saturday, the JV and Varsity will take on the Denver City Fillies.  Varsity will play at 3 pm, after the 2:00 JV match.

The freshmen will play the Lady Eagles in Pecos at 4:30, also on Saturday.
