

Sudderth Elementary is very proud of the efforts that the students, teachers, and staff have accomplished during the 2005-06 school year. Sudderth serves grades fifth and sixth with an enrollment of 272 students. The enrollment by grade level is 133 students in third grade and 139 students in fourth. Sudderth provides a diversified curriculum that addresses the needs of each student. Programs and services include CEI lab, tutorials, study halls, Bilingual, Special Education, 504, ELLIS, Character Education, Computers, Science Fair, Science Lab, AR, PALS, FTA, TAPS, and Gifted and talented. The 2005-06 school year brought on new challenges for students, teachers, and staff members. Parent involvement and support is one of the key ingredients to Sudderth overall success. Sudderth appreciates the help that the parents and community provides in order to give our students the best possible education.
Due to the results of the 2005-06 TAKS testing, Sudderth Elementary received a performance rating of “Recognized”, as well as Gold Performance Acknowledgements for Attendance, Commended in Math, and Comparable Improvement in Reading/ELA for the 2005-06 school year.
