

Tatom Elementary is very proud of the efforts that the students, teachers, and staff have accomplished during the 2005-06 school year. Tatom serves grades third and fourth with an enrollment of 281 students. The enrollment by grade level is 127 students in third grade and 154 students in fourth. Tatom provides a diversified curriculum that addresses the needs of each student. Programs and services include CEI lab, tutorials, study halls, Bilingual, Special Education, 504, Character Education, Computers, Science Fair, AR, PALS, FTA, Tatom L.I.F.E. and Gifted and talented. The 2005-06 school year brought on new challenges for students, teachers, and staff members. Parent involvement and support is one of the key ingredients to Tatom’s overall success. Tatom appreciates the help that the parents and community provides in order to give our students the best possible education.
Due to the results of the 2005-06 TAKS testing, Tatom Elementary received a performance rating of “Recognized.” The results of the 2005-06 TAKS test are as follows:
